Tom is an experienced elementary guide at Canberra Montessori School and a certified Montessori Sports graduate. He brings a unique and insightful perspective from his rich journey in education. 

After working in a high school for two years, Tom felt that he loved teaching, but found many aspects of the education system he worked in troubling. When he observed in a Montessori 3-6 environment while trying to decide which school to send his son to, Tom knew he had found something very special. He decided to pursue this passion and has worked at Canberra Montessori since 2013, in both 6-9 and 9-12 environments. 

In 2020, Tom dove into the world of Montessori Sport and quickly discovered its transformative power and benefits for the whole class and the whole school. 

His passion is grounded in everyday classroom experience, making his insights authentic, practical, and deeply motivating.
