The Montessori Sports Summit 2025 Speaker Story

Leonie is a primary teacher at Volksschule Marienberg in Bregenz, Austria, where she brings Montessori principles to life both inside and outside the classroom. Alongside her teaching, she offers climbing courses for children, combining her passion for movement with her dedication to child development.

Her journey with Montessori Sports began in 2023, when she completed the Montessori Sports training program. Inspired by the power of movement in education, she attended the first Montessori Sports Summit in Amsterdam in 2024. There, Leonie deepened her vision of how sports and Montessori education can strengthen one another.
