Montessori Tennis is a joyful, child-centered approach to learning tennis.
Born from Stephanie’s work in the Montessori Sports Fundamentals Course—and her lifelong love of tennis—this program reimagines how children are introduced to the game.
Instead of lines, drills, and “correcting,” we focus on curiosity, choice, and confidence. Together with tennis pro and coach Nicole Merrit, we’ve created an environment where children develop tennis skills and grow socially, emotionally, and physically.

What is Montessori Tennis?
Montessori Tennis blends authentic Montessori principles with modern tennis coaching.

About the Location
Our fall sessions take place on the beautiful grounds of Montessori Greenhouse, a peaceful and child-centered environment perfectly suited for Montessori Tennis. The outdoor space offers plenty of room for movement, exploration, and skill-building, while maintaining the calm, orderly atmosphere children are used to in their school day.
We set up a prepared tennis environment directly on campus, so children can transition smoothly from the classroom to their session without the stress of travel. Parents appreciate the convenience, and children benefit from learning in a familiar, welcoming space designed with their needs in mind.
